About
Charlotte Laureys is an interior architect based in Ghent, Belgium, working on residential, hospitality and concept interiors. Driven by a deep passion for aesthetics, culture and art, Charlotte approaches each project with a belief that beauty has a meaningful place in everyday life. The spaces we inhabit influence how we feel, how we live and how we connect with the world around us. Creating a beautiful environment is therefore not simply about aesthetics, but about shaping a sense of comfort, belonging and well-being.

Her approach begins with empathy and curiosity: understanding the person behind the project, their habits, needs and individual way of living. Each interior is developed as a personal response to its inhabitants — a space that feels natural, comfortable and deeply connected to their own world.
Charlotte’s education was shaped by inspiring mentors at the forefront of Belgian architecture, while frequent exposure to international projects broadened her perspective and continues to inform her work. She is open to projects both in Belgium and abroad, always guided by a strong connection to the place, its surroundings and, above all, the people she works with.
Nature is an enduring source of inspiration. Its quietness, irregularity and ability to evolve over time are reflected in her preference for authentic materials that possess a sense of tactility and depth, and that become more beautiful as they age. At the same time, the city — with its layers of culture, art, history and everyday life — offers an equally rich source of inspiration.
Within each context, Charlotte seeks a considered symbiosis between these influences, translating them into interiors that are refined yet lived-in, timeless yet personal. Every project is approached as a unique composition, carefully tailored to the client and to the life that will unfold within it.
She believes that the most meaningful interiors are not imposed, but discovered together — through conversation, trust and a shared sensitivity to what feels right. She looks forward to walking that path together.
